Spring/Summer '17 Primark/Penneys Haul!

Okay so this is SUPER late going up because I have been very busy lately (I've just finished my first year at uni so I had lots of work) but I am FINALLY uploading this post!

So recently I have made a LOT of visits to Primark/Penneys; In this post I will show you all of my recent purchases from the past few months. I have attempted to put all of the items in chronological order, however, I cannot fully remember when I bought everything so apologies!

I will link as many of the items that I can find on the Primark website so that you can see the date they first became available and look these items up on Primania if you wish!

(Nb: Primark is in Northern Ireland and Penneys is the Irish equivalent so the items from Primark will be in pounds and the items purchased from Penneys will be in euros.)

Velvet Chokers

I thought this lil set of chokers would match a wide range of things and I loved the colours. - £1.50

Assorted Chokers

I mainly bought these for the rose embroidered one, however the thin black one has proven the most useful as it matches almost any outfit. I'm not so keen on the middle one however for only £2, I couldn't resist. - £2

Black Motorcycle T-Shirt

This top is quite long but I like how it looks on. It has rips on the collar and on the sleeves which I think looks really cool and adds to the look of the top. - £6

Guns n Roses T-Shirt

I picked this up as I am loving the whole band tee vibes going on at the moment; the lil rips in the collar add to the look and looks cute with jeans. - £8

Iron Maiden T-Shirt

This top isn't as oversized as the Guns n Roses one, however it still looks cool with jeans (however I've been told I look like an emo when I wore this with black ripped jeans so...). - £8

Bon Jovi T-Shirt

This is my least favorite out of the 3 band tees because it isn't very oversized, however I like the heart and it still looks cool again with jeans and worn casually. - £8

Eyebrow Brush

I use this brush to do my eyebrows all the time; initially the bristles were slightly too wide to use however once I used it with brow pomade I was able to mold it into a thinner shape for more precise application. - £1

Lip Liner

(In the shade 'Rosewood Mauve') I've had this lip liner before and since it ran out I thought I'd purchase a new one; the colour is gorgeous and it keeps my lipstick in place for longer and makes my lips look bigger. - £1

Yellow Floral Crop Top

Close up of the cut out detail
I seen this lil crop top and I thought it'd be perfect for summer with a pair of white shorts, and at only 3.50 how could I not get it? - 3.50 euro

Khaki Crop Top

I thought this top would be great for summer as it's super basic but looks good on - 3.50 euro

Pacman T-Shirt

I actually picked this top up from the Men's section! I got it in an extra small as the men's tops are quite long, even this one is long, however once it's tucked in it looks fine! I really like wearing this with high-waisted blue jeans. - 7 euro

Holographic Makeup Brush Holder

This case is a handy way to take a selection of brushes with you when you're on the go; the case opens out so that you can also store your brushes in it on your dressing table. - 1 euro

Bronze Bikini

I absolutely love this colour for bikinis and thought it would look amazing with tanned skin (I am the palest of pale so I more than likely will not be tan but oh well) - it looks super flattering on and I can't wait to wear it! - Top: £6 Bottoms: £4

Floral Embroidered Heeled Shoes

When I first saw these and tried them on, they were a little big in my size (5) and there were no size 4's left - however once I found them in a 4 I couldn't resist them as I know they will be the perfect shoes for summer when you wanna be a lil fancy but not too fancy - £16

Gold Embroidered Sandals

I seen these on the Primark Instagram and thought they were gorgeous so I scooped them up as soon as I seen them! - £8

Turquoise Seashell Bikini

This was another case of seeing it on the Primark Instagram and needing it; I don't normally like white bikinis because they tend to be see-through and I don't tend to like non-padded bikinis because of nipples... but it was so cute so I don't even care. - Top: £3(!!!) Bottoms: £3

Turquoise Makeup Brush Set

Again I seen these on the Primark Instagram and I feel in love and once I seen them in Penneys I couldn't resist - I convinced myself to get them as I know I will actually use all of the brushes in the set plus they come with a little silver clutch bag which I will likely use for nights out. - 9 euro

Silver Highlighter

I didn't have great expectations for this highlighter because it seemed quite chunky, but I didn't have a silver highlight in my collection so I thought why not and bought it anyway; on the skin it is quite chunky but if you use a light hand this highlight is actually poppin! - 3.50 euro

Denim Mini Skirt

I've seen photos recently on Instagram of cute outfits with denim skirts and since then I've wanted a denim mini skirt; I came across one on the Primark website and I made it my mission to find it, and low and behold, I did! I tried on both the size 8 and the size 10; the size 8 took A LOT of wiggling to get around my hips, but once it's on it looks amazing; the size 10 was much easier to get on, however, once on it is a little big around my waist, so I settled for the size 8. However, I immediately regretted not getting both sizes to try on at home, so on yet another trip to Primark, I seen it again in the size 10 and I bought it and I am still yet to decide which size I prefer! I can't wait to wear this skirt paired with a belt - £8

Rose Gold Slip On Sandals

I didn't think these would be that nice until I tried them on and they looked gorgeous, and they were only £6! I'll definitely be taking these on holiday with me! - £6

Black Converse-Style Shoes

These were another case of no size 5's left, however, a few Primark trips later and I finally found my size! I thought these looked just like leather Converse (which I've been looking to get in white for ages now) and so when I seen these I needed them in my life. - £8

Black T-Shirt

This lil t-shirt was only £3 and I thought it'd be perfect for everyday wear just to uni and stuff - it is quite see-through and therefore looks good with a black bralette underneath! - £3

Navy Shorts

I had these shorts a couple of years ago, until my mum decided to lend them to my niece and I never got them back... so I bought a new pair; they're super comfy and perfect for summer days - £2.50

Lace Bralettes

Ivory Lace Bralette Set

I bought this a good while ago, however since Primark still has them in I thought I'd include it - this marked the beginning of my bralette collection and I think it looks super cute with low cut tops and more see-through tops, or with a lil shirt over the top, and since it was only a fiver I couldn't resist (plus it comes with cute pants so it's a win win). - £5

Baby Pink Lace Bralette Set

So I seen it in this colour and I love baby pink so I had to... Each of the bralettes come with a pair of pants like these - £5

Black Lace Bralette Set

Again I purchased this as I thought it'd be good to also have a black one. - £5

Burgundy Lace Bralette Set

Okay so I really didn't need any more of these but how could you not love this colour??? - £5

Flamingo Flip Flops

I seen these, thought they were cute, seen that they were 90p and thought they'd be perfect for holidays. - 90p

Blue Gingham Shirt

I've been wanting a shirt like this for a while so I tried it and I really like it! It was only £7 and is really good for warm days as it's quite light and airy and looks cute. I bought it in a size up as I wanted it to be more oversized.- £7

Black Over-Sized Fishnet Tights

I have been on the hunt for these for the LONGEST time as I love the whole fishnet ripped jeans look and I FINALLY got them! I don't even have a pair of nice ripped jeans to wear them with but I will find a pair and it will be great - £2.50

Red Gingham Playsuit

This isn't something I'd normally wear but I thought I'd try it and I actually really like it! It sits a lil funny off the shoulders but it is quite cute and vintage looking so I can't wait to wear this on one of Ireland's rare sunny days and on holidays. - £6

Navy Tracksuit Bottoms

I've been looking a lil casual pair of tracksuit bottoms for a while now so I picked up these! They're slightly cropped which I kind of like and are just perfect for being lazy in. - £5

Sea-Shell T-Shirts

I couldn't decide which of these I wanted so I ended up getting both; these are the basic t-shirts that Primark do that are usually folded on a table - I don't tend to like the shape of these t-shirts as they're quite fitted and so I picked these up a couple of sizes bigger in the hopes that they would look less fitted. - £2.50 each

Holographic Makeup Case

I needed a bigger makeup bag for when I have to carry my makeup with me places and I thought this one was pretty so I got it. - £5

Silicone Sponges

I picked these up just to see what the hype was about; I've tried them once but I used the wrong side so I didn't get to properly try them, but I can't wait to give them another go! - 2 euro

Black Sunglasses

I needed new sunglasses that didn't have the annoying little nose pads that get stuck in your hair when you put your glasses on your head and these fit the criteria - 1.50 euro

Choker Tribal Embroidered Bikini

I seen this bikini top a few months ago at 10 euro, but whenever I was in Penneys a few days ago it was reduced to 3 euro! I think this may have been due to the sizing as when I tried the size 10 it was much too small and felt more like a 6/8, so I went with the 12 and it fit much better! - 3 euro

Tribal Embroidered Bikini Bottoms

These were also reduced to only 1 euro! I couldn't find my size however and I think these may be slightly too big but I'll try and make them work. - 1 euro

Sosu Kylie Eyelashes

I've been wangting to try these for a while now, and up until literally a few days ago, these were only available in the south of Ireland - they've since been introduced to Primark in Northern Ireland. I've seen these used in a lot of Instagram makeup looks so I'm super excited to try them as they look so fluttery! - 6 euro

Blue Shorts

These shorts are the same as the navy pair and once I seen them in this colour I got them too. - 3 euro

Fishnet Socks

I picked these up in both black and white because I couldn't decide which colour I preferred. They're also available in a smaller fishnet print. - 2.50 euro

Marbel Pencil Holder

This is part of Penney's stationary range, however I am planning on using it as a makeup brush holder. - 1.50 euro

Scrunchies

I've been looking for some small scrunchies to tie my hair up when I do a half ponytail as my hair always looks like it's missing something when I do it liked this, so I'm hoping these will make it look better! - 3 euro

Patterned Trousers

Close up of the pattern at the bottom of the trousers
I've seen these types of trousers lately and I've been on the hunt for a pair, until I found these ones in Primark for only £8! I'm really excited to wear them throughout summer, and on holiday! They're cropped which adds to the look and look great with sandals. - £8

Cream Cropped Sweater

This jumper is so soft and comfy and is quite oversized so it looks really cute on. - £5

Belts

I wanted a belt to go with the denim skirt that I bought from Primark so I picked up both a brown one and a black one! A belt can really add to an outfit and help give them the finishing touch in my opinion, so these will be handy to have. - £2 each

Galaxy Bum Bag

Channeling my inner Tumblr-2012-hipster, I'll be taking this bum bag on holiday with me. - £5

Brush Cleaner

To clean my brushes I usually use a bar of baby soap and I rub the brushes into my hand to lather, but I find that this can leave my hands quite dry afterwards so I'm hoping this will clean my brushes well and save my hands! - £1.50

I will be wearing a lot of these items on my upcoming holiday to Greece during the summer so keep yo eyes peeled for that!
So this has been my Spring/Summer Primark haul! I hope you have enjoyed seeing what I have purchased.
